Transway Camp 2009

Transway Camp 2009 was a great success!!

Young, female players from all over the greater Hamilton area, including Scarborough, Oakville, Burlington, Brantford, Waterdown, Dundas, and Ancaster made this year’s camp the most successful ever.

Summer camp has always been a valuable part of a young person’s growth and development and this summer we had 90 young female athletes participate. Players aged 5-14 learned the fundamentals of basketball, developing and improving both their offensive and defensive skills.  Along with skill development, the girls participated in games which promoted friendship, competitiveness, and sportsmanship in a positive, healthy atmosphere.

Next year we are hoping to run a two week camp featuring fundamentals

and skill development.
