Transway Basketball Club
The TRANSWAY BASKETBALL CLUB is a non-profit organization that is widely recognized as one of the finest in the country. Founded by Doug Harrison in 1979, Transway teams have gone onto to win a total of 100 Provincial Championships in the last 39 years, over 300 tournaments and producing many top high school, university and national players. In addition to that, Transway has the most wins for any basketball club in Ontario.

Transway Basketball Summer Camp will be held July 8 - 12, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton. This camp sells out every year, so register early!

Transway Basketball celebrates 40 years of excellence in basketball, with a reunion of the original team at the 20th annual Celebration of Significant People dinner at Michelangelo’s on May 14.
Provincial Championships 2019
Congratulations to our U14 Major Bantam Girls who came into the weekend ranked #8, defeated #5 Vaughan Panthers, and #3 Mississauga Monarchs, to take home the Silver medal. Well done girls, and coaches!
Congratulations to our U13 Bantam Girls who battled their way through the weekend to win GOLD at the Provincial Championship!
Congratulations to our U12 Major Atom Girls who captured the Bronze medal at the Provincial Championships this weekend at the Pan Am Centre.
Good luck to our U13 Bantam team who will be competing in the Provincial Championship this weekend. They are heading into competition ranked #4!
Congratulations to our U11 Atom Girls team who won their second Provincial Championship title! That’s back to back Division 1 Golds for this team.
Congratulations to our Novice #1 team, who finished 1st in Ontario after an undefeated season. Our Novice #2 team followed closely, finishing 13th, and our youngest Novice #3 team won their Division 4 tournament. A great start to the Ontario Cup/Provincial Championship season!
Transway Basketball is celebrating its 40th year of excellence in basketball in 2019!
This past 2017-2018 season, coach Lisa Ciancone led her Junior team to Transway's 100th provincial championship. Lisa was also a player on the very first Transway team to win a provincial championship - in 1981!
